Rezoning RequestCorrigan-Davis withdrawals rezoning requestNovember 2002 - It has come to our attention that Corrigan-Davis has withdrawn their rezoning request. Corrigan-Davis Requests rezoning of Land East of Woodland Shore Drive24 September 2002 - With approximately 100 residents of both Woodland Lake and the Hunter Road subdivisions in attendance, at the zoning board meeting, the zoning board voted unanimously to recommend against rezoning to the township board. Reasons sited in the motion included:
This issue is not yet complete as both the Township board has the final authority. As information on when they put this on the agenda becomes available we will let you know. 10 September 2002 - Corrigan - Davis is requesting rezoning of parcel Tax ID:12-18-300-011-00 which is located just east of Woodland Shore Drive. It is the parcel of land that is at the back of the bay at the end of Woodland Shore Drive. The present zoning is R-2 and the requested zoning is R-4. It is our understanding that the proposed change will allow between 4 and 5 times the number of homes to be built as the present zoning. The public hearing on this zoning will be held in the lower level of the township hall at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, 24 September 2002. Questions should be directed at Brian Frantz of the Planning Commission at (810) 229-0562. This proposal will have a tremendous impact on our lake please be there to express your opinion.
