Overview

OWL is required to have Dam inspections by a State approved engineer at regular intervals in order to insure the integrity of the Dam.

During our last inspection, the inspection firm recommended that we fix the spalling.  OWL contacted  Andrew Blystra, our former inspector, who confirmed some cosmetic spalling of the spillway that needed to be addressed before it became a structural problem.

OWL enlisted Andrew Blystra to specify the project, assist us in an RFQ and act as the engineer.  Following an open bidding process, DC Byers of Detroit Michigan was awarded the contract to do the maintenance.
