23 October 2003 - The DEQ has issued permit(s) for both the maintenance and the drawdown as of this day and the drawdown has begun.

At 14:30 this afternoon Doug Taylor and Jeff Bertoia opened the sluice valve.  By tomorrow we hope to have the contractor remobilized and back working.
