WOODLAND LAKE FEATURES
PHYSICAL DATAWoodland Lake is a natural hard water kettle lake with a dam located in Livingston County, Michigan. Of the three inlets, the primary inlet is South Ore Creek, another is a small field stream on the northwest end of the lake under Hacker Road and the third is a small, unnamed water source at the northeast corner.
Lake Water Quality75 to 89 LWQI range exceptions at the inlet and outlet dropping as low as 43 to a high of 89. WatershedSouth Ore Creek portion of the Huron River Watershed starting around the Maxfield Lake area south of M59 and includes Long Lake, Blaine Lake and Bitten Lake into the north end of Woodland Lake. The water exits Woodland Lake at the dam in South Ore Creek, through Brighton Millpond, Brighton Lake, Ore Lake and then into the Huron River to eventually discharge into Lake Erie at Monroe, Michigan.
