- 15 September 2003 - The
Argus reports that the township's accounting firm recommends a rate
increase from $72.00 to $190.00 / REU / Quarter.

County Communities Designated Urban and are required to meet EPA Requirements
- "It was a bit of a shock when 13 Livingston County communities learned
last spring that they had been designated "urban areas" by the U.S. Census
Bureau.
- Now, they're hustling to meet a slew of federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requirements -- the first due March 10 -- designed to protect the water in urban areas from parking lot run-off, lawn fertilizer, industrial contamination and other hazards.
